Freedom ride!

I had a weak moment and could not turn down taking in this sweet little girl last week. The day we did 101 spays and neuters at the Pinal County Animal Shelter she was so pitiful and I just could not let her go back into the kennel.

Her name is Khloe and her owners turned her in after feeding her nothing but human food all her life. She was not adjusting to being one of hundreds in a shelter and had just shut down. She is already coming out of her shell and is very sweet and loving.

We still need to do some blood work and make sure that getting only human food did not mess up anything internally. She is eating a partial dry with good cooked things mixed in. She might even have a potential home. We will keep you posted on her progress. Welcome to Little Rascals rescue angel!
