Rescue/Sanctuary FAQ's

1. Do we take in animals for Adoption?

- No we recommend looking on petfinder.com to find the rescues closest to you

2. Do we take in animals for the Sanctuary?

- The Sanctuary is full at this time

3. Do we have animals for adoption?

- We are more of a sanctuary now but occasionally will have some available pets that would be posted under the Adoptable pets page



Clinic FAQ's

1. Do we have a licensed Veterinarian?

- Yes, we have 2 amazing Vets/Surgeons Dr. Kit & Dr. Rudy

2. How do I book?

- Text Jen at 623-210-6578

3. How long is my pet going to be at the clinic for surgery?

-  2-8 hours depending on what we have to do & how fast they recover from surgery

4. What types of payments do we accept?

- Cash only

5. Do I need and appointment for S/X?

- Yes, text Jen to make appointment

6. Do I need an appointment for vaccinations, nail trims, anal gland expressions, felv/fiv test?

- No, come to any clinic day between 8am-noon

7. Can I come to a location when the mobile is not there?

- No!  We are only at our locations certain days, please refer to the calendar for when & where we will be

8. Can my pet eat/drink prior to surgery?

- Food and water like normal the night before surgery - water stays out at all times & in the morning just a few small treats but no breakfast

9. Does the mobile come to my house?

- No, we park different locations different days & you bring your pet to us for the day & pick them up later the same day

10. Is Bloodwork required prior to surgery?

- If your pet is 9 years and over blood work is required within that year
- If your pet has medical issues no matter age, blood work is required 
- If your pet is under 9 years old & is healthy we do not require blood work although we always recommend prior to any surgical procedure

11. Do we offer blood work?

- Yes, we now offer bloodwork, you can come to any clinic day between 8am-noon.  It is a very quick draw and results are usually back within a few days

12. Can I do pre-surgical bloodwork the same day as surgery?

- No, it takes at least a few days for the bloodwork to come back from the lab so it needs to be done prior to the surgery appointment

13. Can I go to my own vet for the bloodwork?

- Yes, any cbc/chemistry panel is perfect.  If your pet has other medical issues other testing may be required, text Jen to find out if your pet needs any further testing prior to surgery

14. Can I message or book appointments on Facebook or other social apps?

- No!  Facebook messages are not checked, please text Jen with questions or to book at 623-210-6578

15. Does my pet need to be up to date on vaccines to come to the clinic?

- No, we do not require vaccination records to come to us, we do offer vaccines if you need them

16. Do we see emergencies?

- No, we are not an emergency clinic, we recommend Thrive Pet Healthcare at 480-502-4400

17. Do we do exams and/or workups?

- No, we are not a full service clinic.  For regular veterinary services we recommend Desert Rose Animal Hospital at 480-808-6289
